What is integrated education?
Integrated education in Northern Ireland brings children, staff and families from different religious, cultural and community backgrounds together in the same school. The aim is that children learn with, and from, one another in an atmosphere of respect and inclusion.
In an integrated nursery school, this means your child will:
- Learn and play alongside children from a mix of traditions and family backgrounds.
- Hear about different celebrations and beliefs in an age-appropriate way.
- Experience a caring setting that welcomes children of all faiths and none
